If you want in and I missed you, just let me know.ĮDIT 2: Look, a list! Sorted by platform! Let me know if your info is wrong. :DĮDIT: I put together a quick and dirty Steam Group in case anyone is interested in one of those. I'm Mirado on Steam, and I hope to see you outside of heaven. Some trophies may not appear either only 2 or 3. It seems that you can give other players a tour of your FOB, so seeing the unique setups that people have made might cause you to change your mind! This save has all the trophies however it is necessary that you get the resources to build the Nuclear Weapon. I'd highly encourage anyone who thought they wanted no part in the FOB stuff to still drop their names in, as you might find that having a Giant Bomb shaped safety net is just what you need to get into a little Snake on Snake action, and there's no obligation to actually set up a base yourself.

I'll be playing on PC, so if you guys and gals want to organize the console MGO stuff in a separate thread (you'll probably have a few months head start), feel free, but this can act as just a general friends list even if you aren't planning on going heavy into the MGO scene, PC or otherwise. There's no cross platform multiplayer confirmed so far, so make sure to list the platform you are on.

My assumption is that you'd get a notification when someone on your friends list is under attack if they are offline themselves. Even using a FAQ with directions this is still a pain in the ass. For FOBs, no rules about not attacking each other or anything like that (I'm not sure how you pick your targets anyway) as you can't really enforce it just a way to connect to some like minded people who'd want to have the chance of someone backing them up when they are offline. Rabites Steam: IceBurner PSN: theIceBurner, IceBurnerEU, IceBurner-JP X-Link Kai: TheIceBurner Dragons Dogma: 192 Warrior Linty 80 Strider Alicia 32 Mage Terra. MGO doesn't have a clan setup confirmed yet, so this is going to start out loosely organized. With the revelation that you can call upon your friends to help you defend your FOB (Forward Operating Base) if you aren't around, and with MGO delayed for at least a month on consoles and until January for PCs, I thought it would be nice to trade names for FOB related activities and set ourselves up for MGO's eventual release. The original post is below for posterity: BSF is still taking names for when this will (hopefully) be patched, and also for people interested in playing MGO together.

I wonder if it has anything to do with my WM? I use i3wm and sometimes I feels as if games don't like I don't think this is the case, I may be wrong but unless you mean a VM Linux and Windows would be installed in entirely different locations, with different paths - most likely both OS's wouldn't hop over and check the other, if that makes sense? (happy to be wrong on this).POST LAUNCH EDIT: As of right now, we cannot actually support friends in TPP's FOB system. I can reinstall it and maybe try running it in a console and see what the issue is, but as far as I can tell, it's just bypassing/connecting the DRM to the server which is my main issue (Running it purely with Steam+Proton). I had a go at installing it with Lutris but that was even more-so uneventful (forgive me, I fail to remember what happened but the abridged version is, it didn't work). I think has been merging issues of the same game under the same report, unless they're officially supported games then they track all separate issues independently.ĭid you ever start the game on any other platform? I had started the game using Lutris previously, and my Proton session is able to find that cloud save and run from there, so maybe that's where our experience Thanks for the reply
